MIKE ABENDROTH, Pastor-Teacher

Mike's passion is preaching the Bible in a verse-by-verse fashion and training other men to do the same. He graduated from The Master's Seminary in 1996 (M. Div.), received his doctorate in Expository Preaching at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in May 2006 (D. Min.), and is adjunct professor of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Pastor Mike is also the author of the book entitled "Jesus Christ: The Prince of Preachers." He is overwhelmed at God's grace in his salvation and in God's choice of his amazing wife Kimberly. Mike has been the Senior Pastor at BBC since April 1997. When not enjoying his family, Mike is often seen on his motorcycle. Mike also hosts the daily radio show, "No Compromise Radio" Mon-Fri, on 760 AM locally in Delaware.

In 1997, Tom earned a Master of Divinity degree, graduating from The Master's Seminary. Shortly after graduating, Tom was ordained to the gospel ministry at Congregational Christian Church in Los Angeles, where he ministered while in seminary. His ordination was accomplished with the oversight and aid of the IFCA International, of which Tom has been a member since his ordination. Desiring to see strong Bible-teaching churches, Tom and his family returned to their home in Maryland in the summer of 1997 to help establish Hope Bible Church.
Currently, Tom's primary ministries are expository preaching, teaching, and supervising the planning and development of Sunday worship services. In addition, he focuses on developing leaders and helping all the members of the congregation to become mature co-laborers in Christ. Tom and Susan have four children: Hannah, Grace, Faith, and Josiah.

Pastor Steve Sherman was trained for pastoral ministry at The Master’s Seminary in Sun Valley, California, where he graduated in May 2005. Prior to graduation, he was actively involved in youth ministry for six years. Since graduation, Steve has been pastoring Christian Fellowship Church, an independent baptist church. His passions are expository preaching and his growing family. Steve is happily married to his wife, Esther. They have four children under the age of six: Karise, Josiah, Zoey, and Caleb.
